Happy Birthday Bert!

Best birthday wishes to nephew Bert, a massive, massive spidey fan... hopefully he'll move on up to Bats before too much longer. This started as above but got flipped at some point during colouring and somehow stayed that way. (p.s. I have more to post, coming soon-ish. maybe.)

Music class Leica

Took a music class Leica a little further with some very simple Flash Animation. There are definitely things I would do better next time... Music is Personnages à longues oreilles (Characters with Long Ears) by Camille Saint-Saëns. I was playing with the "Ass" idea of the piece and also the creepy Psycho/Jaws motifs in the violin playing. Was quite a lot of fun...

UPDATED! Gunslinger Action Analysis

Updated version of Flash Animated character. Track is"foreground" by Grizzly Bear used without permission. Live action desk top set filmed digitally with the incomparable, quintisentially usefull and thouroughly indespensable help of Alex Booth http://vimeo.com/user6723989/videos Animated in Flash and composited in After Effects and Premiere.

Squint!

Track: "fish" by Mr Scruff used without permission. Background photo features playmobil boat that, rather surpisingly, I own although probably don't have permission to use like this... The flash character Squint is my own creation although clearly influenced by Quint from Jaws. Composited in After Effects and Premiere. Please let me know what you think...
